EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The Campus School -- is a year-round, registered, state-licensed school that combines academic, vocational and remedial services for teens in the Residential Treatment Program and Residential Treatment Facility. Following a New York State curriculum, the School provides special education to help students have a successful learning experience and be well-prepared for an eventual return to community schools.

The Avalon School -- is a day-treatment program that offers a small class size and individual support and attention to students age 12 to 18 who live at home but have had trouble achieving success in community schools due to emotional, social and behavioral needs. Special education teachers work together with social workers to address student needs. The school helps students develop academically and socially, resolve difficulties and set positive educational, career and life goals. The goal is for students to return successfully to their home schools or they may graduate from Avalon with complete credits.

Water Tower Academy -- is a small, credit-bearing alternative school serving Rochester youth, operated by the Rochester City School District and supported by staff from St. Joseph’s Villa. Located in Water Tower Park on Jay Street in the City of Rochester, its aim is to help young people resolve behavioral issues and transition successfully back to their home schools.
