PEOPLE WHO CARE

More than 400 psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, teachers, counselors, recreational therapists, nurses, administrative and support personnel make up the Villa's committed family of employees. Villa staff are experienced, knowledgeable and sensitive to the vast needs of troubled youth and families.

Compassion, honesty, respect and humor are tools we use. Accountability and decision-making are principles we teach.

Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the Villa has consistently met national standards of excellence. Quality standards and outcome measurements are in place for every program. The agency is also a vocal member of organizations working to improve access to services and address systemic problems affecting children and families.

The fact that hundreds of former Villa children live among us today as productive community members, speaks volumes about the value of the agency's work and its ability to make a difference.

Though times continue to change, the Villa remains true to the original mission of the Sisters of
St. Joseph: to help young people become confident individuals, motivated and equipped to build positive lives for themselves, their families and the community.
